Having decided to stay home for the Xmas and new year period and not contest the racing in Sydney it gave us a change to spend quality time with the family and our close Darwin friends (giving our Sydney friends a break ) and do the usual eat and drink ritual that comes with the Xmas tradition. Anyhow getting all that done and dusted DGM resumed our racing at Parramatta last Saturday night and it now gives us a change to run on slick tracks and having to go out in 24th time trial and scaping into 24th quick giving Daniel a pole starting in his heat after leading for most of the heat a lapse in judgement faded to 3rd which put Daniel out of 18th in the A main with massive changes th the the 7 maxim we managed to come home in 13th,not a bad effort considering that this time last year we were struggling with the slick tracks, the signs are encouraging and when you see World of Outlaw Jason Meyers effetely driving fast with slick conditions we have a long way to go but we will continue to learn and 1 day it will pay off. This Saturday night Jarrod joins Daniel and DGM will be hoping for solid performances in the no.2wingless and no.7sprintcar.
