D.G.M came away from the weekends N.T. title with great results the team not only preparing Jarrod's car and also decided to transform Daniels maxim into a wingless then renumber it to no.2 due to no.7 not being available and having to start from rear of the field in his 3 heats,after the dust had settled he was to come from 5 in the 25 lap final only to have a battery give up on him as he was about to start, so he had to watch brother Jarrod from the infield.

Jarrod on the other hand put all his bad luck and fustrations from previous meetings behind him  to earn a front row start for the feature after having 2 wins and a 2nd in his heats. with ex Aussie and current  no.2 Rory Button on poll it was going to be no mean feat.At the start Jarrod got the jump and set Rory to a merry chase with wheel to wheel racing lap after lap both drivers giving each other respect, with 8laps from home fatigue having set in Jarrod made a small error and Rory snuck through and came home for the win and Jarrod had to settle for 2nd. In all Jarrod having waited this title and coming 2nd to Rory was as good as winning it.
